Retaining Compounds

Retaining Compounds are anaerobic adhesives designed to securely bond bearings, bushings, and cylindrical parts into housings or onto shafts. These compounds are essential for precision assembly in press- and slip-fitted parts, offering high strength, temperature resistance, and vibration resistance. They fill gaps between components and cure to form strong, durable bonds without requiring air, making them ideal for systems under high loads and harsh environmental conditions.

Commonly used in industries such as automotive and heavy machinery, retaining compounds are also applicable in any field that requires metal-to-metal adhesion for moving parts. They help manufacturers avoid unnecessary machining during MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) and protect components from fretting and corrosion wear. Threadlockers

Threadlockers provide secure, vibration-resistant fastening solutions with varying strengths for different applications.

• Purple (Low Strength/Removable): Designed for small fasteners up to ¼” (M6), it can be easily removed with hand tools. Ideal for delicate assemblies like watches, eyeglasses, carburetors, and body panel fasteners.

• Blue (Medium Strength/Removable): Suitable for fasteners up to ¾” (M20), offering reliable holding power while allowing removal without heat or power tools. Perfect for rocker studs, adjustment bolts, oil pans, and brake calipers.

• Green (High Strength/Permanent): A wicking formula that penetrates preassembled threads, seals welds, and secures porous metal assemblies. Commonly used for air conditioning belts, distribution clamps, and carburetor screws.

• Red (High Strength/Permanent): Designed for fasteners ¾” (M20) and larger, offering maximum strength for high-vibration applications. Though intended to be permanent, removal is possible with heat or power tools. Ideal for frame brackets, suspension fasteners, and wheel studs.

Thread Sealants

Thread Sealants provide a reliable seal to prevent leaks of liquids and gases in threaded pipes and fittings. These anaerobic adhesives offer 100% surface contact, corrosion protection, and resistance to vibration and thermal cycling. Unlike traditional sealing methods, they won’t shrink, crack, or wash off, ensuring long-lasting performance. Additionally, they are nonflammable, chemically resistant, and safe for system integrity, often exceeding the burst rating of most pipe systems.

• Hydraulic/Pneumatic Applications: Designed for fine-thread connections, with options like low-viscosity formulas for easy application and no-filler variants for maximum sealing performance.

• Controlled Strength & High-Temp Options: Paste formulations allow for easier disassembly when needed, while high-temperature and stainless steel-compatible versions ensure durability in extreme conditions.

• Coarse Thread Compatibility: Gel-based sealants provide a medium-strength hold for larger, coarser threads, delivering secure, leak-proof performance.

Structural Adhesives

• Cyanoacrylate Accelerators: Speed up adhesive curing and improve bonding on various substrates, including woods, metals, plastics, and medical device applications. Options include low-odor, general-purpose, and ISO 10993-5 compliant formulations.

• Cyanoacrylate Debonder: Removes cured cyanoacrylate adhesives efficiently, making rework and cleanup easier.

• Cyanoacrylate Primer: Increases surface energy for bonding hard-to-bond materials like polyolefins, fluoropolymers, and thermoplastic elastomers.

• Cyanoacrylate Primer/Activator: Strengthens and accelerates the curing of anaerobic threadlockers for secure and reliable fastening.

Anti-Seize
