Grease Accessories
Huyett's product line includes the following accessories for grease applications:
- Grease Fitting Adapters: These fasteners are used when the grease fitting does not fit the tapped hole, needs to be raised above the hole, or needs to be accessed at an angle. The adapter is installed in the hole and the zerk is screwed into it. Huyett's product line offers standard adapters for zerks that are too big, bushings for those that are too small, elbows to create an angled attachment point, and extensions to elongate the attachment point.
- Grease Fitting Caps: Caps help protect the zerk from dirt and debris, which can clog up the zerk head and potentially dispense dirt into the machine components. These parts are ideal for outdoor applications or those exposed to dust.
- Header Blocks: Header blocks are perfect for industrial applications that move large quantities of grease and require efficient greasing to multiline lubrication systems. The block connects these multiline systems to itself, which acts as a single-point lubricator, so you only need to access one centralized lubrication point to grease multiple lines for increased operational efficiency.
Oil Accessories
Huyett's product line includes the following accessories for oil lubrication:
- Oil Hole Covers: Equipped with a self-hinging cover to close on their own, oil hole covers provide simple coverage for oil holes. They do not hold hole; they serve to protect and provide access to oil holes. They feature a hex body for easy installation with a hex wrench and are available in 90° elbow styles for efficient access in awkward spacing.
- Oil Cups: Also equipped with a self-hinging cover, these components do feature a small reservoir to hold oil for consistent and continuous lubrication to the application while also offering hole protection. They also have a hex body for hex wrench installation.
- Oil Reservoirs: Reservoirs hold larger quantities of oil and are used as a central dispenser. Designed with a clear plastic bowl, these components make it easy to check oil levels and ensure the application is appropriately lubricated. Huyett offers reservoirs in varying capacities, from 1oz - 128oz.
- Oilers: Like oil hole covers, these components are used as oil fill points. The difference is that oilers have ball checks that self-close to reduce damage from dirt and debris.
