Repair lap links are designed to repair low carbon steel chains or attach fittings. Lap links come with a corrosion resistant zinc plating and install easily between two links or a link and fitting with a hammer or vise. The link stays securely fastened while in use, and can be quickly disassembled with a hammer and punch. Repair lap links can be used just about anywhere in lift gate chains, trailer safety chains, dog leashes, for sports and recreation, household use, and many other commercial and agricultural applications. Ensure the selected lap link is one size larger than the chain size in use. Do not use for overhead lifting.- Quickly assembly and disassemble with common hand tools
