Rectangular key stock is key stock 12 inches or longer in length whose width is more than its height. Key stock can be easily cut and filed for custom machine key sizes. Key Stock is cold drawn to exacting tolerances with sharp corners, perpendicular and parallel sides, and smooth, bright surface finishes. The extra width of rectangle key stock allows for greater transfer of torque without increasing depth into the shaft.
