Extension Springs

Extension Springs

Extension springs, commonly called tension springs, are tightly wound coil springs that lengthen and provide resistance to pulling forces. Each end of the spring features a hook or loop, allowing the spring to be attached to various components. When applied forces are absent, the spring returns to normal length. They can be installed under no tension at shortest length or stretched to an extended length depending on application. Extension springs are commonly found on carburetors, spring-loaded hand tools, toys, automobiles, and more.
