Leg Springs

Leg Springs
Leg springs, also called torsion springs, are coiled springs that reduce in diameter and provide resistance to rotational force around the center of the spring. Leg springs feature legs that attach to a wide range of components. When the components are rotated, the spring reduces in diameter creating tension. When tension is released the spring pushes the components back to their original position. In addition to the diameter size change, torsion springs will also lengthen during compression which should be taken into account for tight clearance applications. Leg springs can be found in hinges or returns for doors, clipboards, toys, clothes pins, and medical equipment.- Useful across a wide range of industries
