Hex Keys

Hex Keys

Hex keys, more commonly known as allen keys or allen wrenches, are an L-shaped bar with hexagonal ends crafted from durable carbon steel. Allen wrenches are used for tightening and loosening cap screws with hexagonal socket heads. Both ends of the wrench measure the same across the hexagonal flats and can be used interchangeably for varying torque needs when installing and removing fasteners.

  • Coated in durable, corrosion resistant black oxide
  • Common sizes 1/16” to 1/4" available
  • Short arm allen wrenches are ideal for fasteners in tight, hard to reach locations
  • Long arm allen wrenches provide additional torque for loosening stubborn fasteners
