Finger spring washers, or finger disc springs, are a spring steel washer with bent tangs around the circumference of the washer that provide additional spring like qualities. Finger spring washers reduce skidding on rotating elements making them ideal for ball bearings and other rotating assemblies. Finger spring washers do not widen under compression, making them ideal for housings with little clearance.- Counteracts vibration, noise, and end play
