Plug mount cable ties, often called plug mount zip ties, integrate a cable tie and a push-on or snap-in, self-retaining fastener. Shank variations are designed to be inserted and locked into a panel hole, of a specified size by hand. The plug mount requires low insertion force making installation easy, while requiring high extraction force for removal from an assembly. Once installed in the panel, the desired wiring or cables are secured with the tie.
